Scholarship Competition!

Scholarship Competition

Please join us at Huntington Fine Arts for our Scholarship Competition! It will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 12:30 – 4:00 PM. The competition is open to 7th through 11th graders. It is a great opportunity for students to draw from the nude model. We supply paper and charcoal.

Here’s how it works:

1) For the first half of the session, the instructors will give the students complete guidance. During the second half, they will be on their own. The drawings from the second half will be an important part of the student’s presentation.

2) Students must bring in a minimum of three pieces of their artwork (sculptures, paintings, drawings, photographs…) for review. All artwork must remain at Huntington Fine Arts until the students personal evaluation.

Awards will range from $100 to $1000!

Scholarships can be used towards our very successful College Prep Portfolio Program, non-program, spring, or summer sessions.

While the competition is in progress, we would like to take the opportunity to invite the parents of the contestants to a presentation of our school and a discussion of the requirements for college entrance. Refreshments will be served.

We look forward to making this a great success for all students! Please contact us at or call 631-351-4060 to Sign Up Now! Check out our website: for more information on our school.

Like lawyers and stockbrokers, we’re supposed to tell you here that prior achievements are no guarantee of future results. And fair enough – they are not.

BUT -  our graduates do in fact have a pretty impressive and consistent track record when it comes to getting into the colleges they choose, often with very nice scholarship packages involved.

You can see this track record be visiting our website’s Results Page.
